Getting started

Create your uNotes account, find your school and courses, and start studying in minutes.

Explore without an account

You don't need an account to look around. Go to unotes.net and:

  • Use the search bar on the home page to find documents by school, course, or topic
  • Browse the Schools directory to find your university or college
  • Open Quizzes and Flashcards to see public practice material

When you're ready to download documents, generate your own quizzes, or upload notes, create a free account.

Create your account

  1. Go to unotes.net/signup.
  2. Sign up with your email and a password, or use Google or Apple sign-in.
  3. If you sign up with email, check your inbox for a verification email and confirm your address.

First steps

Once you're signed in:

  1. Find your school. Search for your university or college on the Schools page and open its course list.
  2. Open a course. Each course collects the study documents students have shared for it — past exams, assignments, labs, and notes.
  3. Study a document. Open any document to read it, then use the AI tools to generate a practice quiz or flashcards from it.
  4. Upload your own notes. Uploading is free on every plan. Your uploads grow the shared library and help classmates find material for your courses.

Every study action — finishing a quiz, reviewing flashcards, completing a lecture session — counts toward your daily study streak. See Study progress.
